Brownings Kilmarnock Pie Day Photo Competition

 

Eligibility

• Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
• Entries must be submitted by an individual acting in their personal capacity.
• Entries submitted on behalf of a business, organisation or commercial entity are not eligible.
• Due to delivery restrictions, the competition is open only to UK residents within areas serviced by Brownings.
• The prize is intended for personal consumption only and may not be sold, auctioned, transferred for commercial gain or used as part of any promotional activity.
• No purchase is necessary to enter the competition. Participants may submit an eligible photograph of a Brownings Kilmarnock Pie in-store or after purchase, provided all other entry requirements are met.

 

How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

1. Take a photograph featuring a genuine Brownings Kilmarnock Pie.
2. Post the photograph publicly on Facebook or Instagram during the competition period.
3. Tag Brownings in the post.

 

Entry Weighting

• Each eligible photograph will receive one (1) entry into the prize draw.
• Photographs taken at notable landmarks, recognisable locations, tourist attractions or otherwise creative locations may receive five (5) entries at the sole discretion of Brownings.
• The decision regarding bonus entries is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

Entry Limits

• Multiple entries are permitted.
• Each photograph must be substantially different.
• Duplicate, near-identical, AI-generated, manipulated or recycled photographs may be disqualified.
• Brownings reserves the right to exclude entries deemed spam, low effort or designed solely to gain an unfair advantage.
• Participants may not use multiple social media accounts to increase their chances of winning.

 

Competition Period

Entries must be submitted between 03/09/2026 and 13/09/2026.

Entries received outside this period will not be counted.

 

Prize

The winner will receive:

Free Kilmarnock Pies for one year, consisting of:

• Up to ten (10) Kilmarnock Pies per calendar month.
• Maximum of one hundred and twenty (120) pies over the prize period.
• Prize period commences from the date agreed with Brownings.
• Monthly allocation does not roll over if unused.
• If supplied through delivery, monthly allocation will be delivered once per month.
• No cash alternative is available.
• Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.
• Products supplied are for personal consumption only and may not be resold.

 

Winner Selection

• One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after bonus entries have been allocated.
• Brownings may verify the validity of any entry before awarding the prize.
• If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, Brownings reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

 

Use of Photographs

By entering, participants grant Brownings a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

• Repost submitted images on social media.
• Feature entries on Brownings’ website, marketing materials and promotional activity.
• Use the entrant’s first name and location when promoting the competition.

Entrants confirm they own the rights to the photographs submitted and have obtained permission from any identifiable individuals featured.

 

General

• Brownings reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition where circumstances make this unavoidable.
• Brownings reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, manipulation or breach of these terms.
• By entering, participants are deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.

• Winner must provide a UK delivery address.
• Pies will be supplied through a method determined by Brownings (voucher, collection or delivery).
• Brownings reserves the right to substitute an equivalent product if a Kilmarnock Pie is unavailable.
• Missed collections or failed deliveries count towards the monthly allocation.
• Prize cannot be gifted to third parties on an ongoing basis.
• Winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the competition.
• Brownings reserves the right to request proof of identity and eligibility before issuing the prize.
• Entries generated through bots, automation or paid engagement schemes will be disqualified.
