Brownings the Bakers aim to deliver your freshly baked favourites within the agreed timeframe. Please read
our delivery terms carefully before placing your order.
Courier Partner
All online orders are delivered via DPD.
Delivery Days
- Orders are despatched on a Wednesday for delivery within a 48-hour time frame.
- We always aim to deliver within a 48-hour delivery window. Your parcel will be dispatched on a Wednesday and may arrive on either Thursday or Friday, depending on your location and DPD’s routing.
- Once DPD sends you your tracking information if you make any changes to your delivery date, we are no longer responsible for the parcel arriving within 48 hours.
Packaging & Product Care
- All products are packed in foil-lined, insulated boxes with ice packs to maintain freshness.
- Our packaging is designed to keep products chilled for up to 48 hours.
- Products are not frozen when dispatched.
- Items that can be frozen on arrival are clearly marked with an “F” on the ordering screen.
- Most products have a short shelf-life and may only have 1–2 days of freshness remaining upon arrival. We recommend freezing items you don’t plan to eat immediately.
Delivery Areas
- We deliver to all mainland UK postcodes
Damaged Parcels & Incorrect Deliveries
- If your package is damaged in transit, this must be taken up directly with DPD, we are not responsible
for how parcels are handled during shipping.
If all the information on the consignment is correct but the parcel was miss-delivered the issue must be
taken up with DPD. Including-
- Deliveries to the wrong address.
- The delivery driver did not follow instructions (e.g. failed to ring the doorbell).
- The parcel was left in the wrong location.
- If you selected a Pre-12pm delivery and it arrived late.
